In my opinion the adductor muscles are one of the most under trained muscle groups.
What are they? Adductors are an important muscle group located on your inner thigh that move your legs toward the centre of your body (aka perform “adduction”).
Why are they important?
•provide lower body stability and mobility during daily activities
•support explosive movements (like in the bottom of a barbell squat)
•support the pelvis
•helps to stabilise the hip joint
•improves hip strength, and mobility
•reduce the risk of injuries/ groin strains
•facilitates more athletic positions
My favourite inner thigh exercises;
